This is the story of the U.S. Navy SEAL Team One in Vietnam as told by twenty of the elite Navy commandos who fought there from 1962 to 1972. After Sorrow spans an American woman's twenty-five years of experience in Viet Nam. It is the story of the ordinary Vietnamese whom Americans fought against but never had the chance to know.
